Dog friendly plants are great, but for us plant people there are so many other plants we want to own too! Just because a plant is toxic for our pets doesn’t mean we can’t own it. There are just some extra precautions to take! For dog owners, just putting them in an area the dog doesn’t frequent or is out of reach. For cat owners it can be a little trickier. Cats love to jump high up onto spaces, so your best bet for keeping toxic plants out of a cat’s reach is having a specific area that the plants go where the cats are not allowed into.
